Welcome to Shirat HaTamar!
In 2018 we founded Shirat HaTamar in Efrat, Gush Etzion, as a spiritual home for young families in search of meaningful tefilla (prayer) and a warm communal life. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere in which men, women, and children may all take actively participate -- out of the belief that this is a fundamental aspect of our ‘avodat HaShem. Our kehilla (community) was founded with the support of the mara de-atra (local rabbi), Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, who continues to provide advice and guidance. Our spiritual leader is Rabbanit Shira Marili-Mirvis.
